Triumph Parts Suppliers:
- The Roadster
Factory
Most Triumph models, MGB Pennsylvania, USA.
Great parts, fair prices, good service (and next-day-ground from me!) Knock Charles Runyan
(the owner) all youwant for his recently added Coventry Inn ("British" Pub in
Indiana, PA), but I see him as a true enthusiast and Anglophile with too much on his plate
and too little time to properly attend to everything.
- Motorhead
Most British car models, primarily Triumph, MG, Austin Healy, etc.
Northern Virginia, USA.
Very knowledgeable people, helpful, and with a nice facility for British car repairs &
restoration (or even their "recommended" renovation). The "renovation"
is adding all theoriginal safety & functionality, while passing on the far more
expensive concours path. This is quite suitable for daily drivers, autocrossers, etc.
- Rimmer Brothers
Most Triumph models from TR6 on, including Stag, Herald, etc. Lincoln,
England.
Excellent selection of parts, some of which do not appear to be available elsewhere. Also,
the best (color!) catalog for the TR7/8/Sprint. The catalog costs 3 english pounds..
Slightly cheaper than here in the USA, but the savings is balanced out by shipping charges
across the Atlantic.
- TSI Automotive
(Ted Schumacher e-mail link)
Triumph TR6, 7, 8, Spitfire, GT6, MG, Sprite, etc. Northeast USA.
Some very neat bits. Poly suspension bushes, brake proportioning parts, TR7 to TR8
conversion pieces, etc.
- Woody's Wedge Shop (Woody Cooper
e-mail link)
Specializing in TR7/TR8 Northeast USA
Woody Cooper has put together some of the neatest TR8's around. Others have said that he's
a hobbyist first, a buisinessman second. I haven't got any parts from Woody yet, but he's
extremely nice and has *tons* of knowledge about the wedges and some very neat add-on
pieces, plus a 13-second car to show his stuff in!
- S+S Preparations
Lancashire, England.
Neat TR7 to TR8 conversion kits, motors, rear disc brake kits, body kits, and lots of
other bits. Prices seem reasonable, but I have not yet purchased anything from S+S.
- Moss Motors
Many British car models California, USA and New Jersey, USA
A reasonable selection of wedge parts, but for me, TRF is closer and stocks much the same
stuff!
- Victoria British
Many British and other car models (300Z, Miata, etc) Kansas, USA.
Nice selection, No knowledgeable people on the phone (in my experience), neat aftermarket
parts.
- SpitBits
Spitfire Specialists, obviously California, USA
Lots of parts, fair prices. Nobody else in the US seems to have the elusive multipart hood
prop, for instance.
- Rovers West (Formerly EightParts)
Tuscon, AZ
- WedgeParts
- John's Cars
Texas (?), USA.
TR7 to V6 conversion specialists. I intended to buy my poly bushes from them, but instead
bought a set from Ted Shumacher at the '97 TRF Summer Party. They do have some nice parts,
though. And the v6 seems to be fast and still looks clean according to mailing list
members. I have not seen one of these conversions firsthand.
- British Masters
Used British car parts. Prices seem reasonable. I have not dealt with this
company at all, just visited their web site.
- RPI Engineering
England
Knowledgeable about the Rover v8. Stocks custom / performance parts for at least the 3.5L
& 3.9L Rover engines.
- Best Gasket
Has gasket sets for the Buick 215 v8
